Reasons:

People have the choice as to weather or not they want to participate in a circus, where as animals are forced to live a life in the circus or zoo.

For example if you like sports you can watch the Superbowl if you like football, for soccer fans theres the FIFA World Cup, the World Series for baseball fans, NBA Finals for basketball and other sorts of sports entertainment.
